The CCC men's basketball team picked up an impressive 96-85 victory at Jones College on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023. The Tigers scored 48 points in each half en route to the win.

Coahoma was led in scoring Kei Johnson, who recorded 22 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.

Jaqai Murray tallied 17 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. Guard Ben Galmore, from Clarksdale MS., also scored 17 points. Galmore was 5-of-11 from 3-point range.

Amarion Hoggan contributed 15 points, nine assists, and four steals off a highly efficient 6-of-8 shooting from the floor.

O'zhell Jackson was one of the three CCC players to record a double-double in the game. Jackson registered 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. He was a perfect 5-of-5 on field goal attempts.

Gregg Magee, Jayleon Johnson, Korea McKay II, and Jo Perez also scored for Coahoma.

CCC was 34-of-61 from the floor; 10-of-25 from 3-point range; and 18-of-21 from the free throw line. Coahoma tallied 38 rebounds, 29 assists, and 10 steals.

The Tigers are now 11-10 (4-7 MACCC) this season; Jones is 13-8 (6-5 MACCC).

Coahoma hosts Mississippi Delta on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 6:00 p.m.
