Box Score The CCC women's basketball team played at East Central Community College on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.
Coahoma outscored ECCC in each of the final three quarters. The Lady Tigers led 23-20 at halftime, and outscored East Central 21-12 in the third quarter.
Coahoma's largest lead of the game occurred when CCC led by 21 points with 2:23 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Lady Tigers went on to win the game 58-42.
CCC's Janiya Jones led all scorers with 23 points. Jones made five 3-pointers off 12 attempts, while also recording three assists and three steals.
Elishia Wilson recorded a double-double for Coahoma with 10 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four steals, three assists, and one block.
CCC is now 4-2 (0-0 MACCC) this season; ECCC is now 3-5 (0-0 MACCC).
Coahoma's next game is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, against South Arkansas University Tech. That matchup will take place at the Pinnacle, and is slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
